Lee and Peter Sailing Trip was for Four not Two Years. Now an Italian adventure

We had great sail across Albermarle Sound to Colington Island. Another Gemini owner has a house on Colington Island and invited us to use the dock attached to his house. It looked straight forward on the maps and charts, enter the Island Harbor, turn right and first left. We entered the harbor and there were four channels in front of us, they all looked rightish. Colington Island is like Venice with houses on canals, look it up on Google maps. A great place to live if you have a boat. Thank goodness for GPS we managed to find his dock and met Richard.

He dropped us at the Wright Monument and went to his office.

The Wright Monument is very well done, a good orientation center, markers on the ground showing the first powered flights, an impressive monument on top of a hill and a sculpture recreating the famous photo of the first powered flight. It really is a good presentation of the Wright Brothers endeavors and achievements.

After viewing the Monument we invited Richard and his girlfriend for a drink on our boat as and talked about boats of course and crabs.  The residents catch blue crabs in the canals, so Lee wanted me to put out the crab trap, it was pouring with rain and dark, there are limits to what you do for food! We did not put out the trap did not get crabs.
