We are still waiting for a good weather window to cross the Gulf Stream. Today was a possibility but the advice was to leave at noon and get in before midnight. There is a cold front coming and early Friday at around 1AM the wind will swing North at 30 knots, really bad for the Gulf Stream. 12 hours is not a safe margin so we are waiting. It is blowing hard now, Thursday afternoon, from the South so we are glad we waited.
Jettie of “Duchess” cooked a dinner one evening on their boat. Duchess is a grand and beautiful boat a 40 ft sailing catamaran. They have two dogs onboard.

We went to see a movie the finest hour, a dramatic sea rescue during a storm! We prepared a dinner for Jettie and Donna of Duchess. After dinner, we studied the Bahamas Chart. They know the Bahamas so well. They told us of a sunken airplane and an underwater piano! Things to look forward to.

The Church “Bethesda by the Sea” in Palm Beach has beautiful gardens. We really enjoyed a lot.

Palm Beach has a rule that no one is allowed to build a fence or wall higher than 5ft. So the wealthy residents allow green hedges to grow. The result is a magnificent topary haven. The quality of the trimming is suberb and the place is a delight to walk around. It looks like all the world’s topary workers are here.
