Enseada’s Bahia Noroeste is surrounded completely by the high and low hills and Mangrove trees. Inside there is the Loco river. Loco River is long and if we could go up by dinghy we could go to the Supermarket easily. But it is filled with fallen Mangrove trees so we could not go up the river.

We moved to Gilligan’s Island Anchorage. On the way out of the Bahia we ran aground. It was mud so did not do any harm to the boat. But Peter had to walk around the boat in the water to place an anchor at the other side in order to use a winch to pull us out. Peter is arranging the line on the rudder that allows the rudder to lift and avoid damage.

We went around the Gilligan’s Islands by dinghy. The two islands are close together and provide a natural vast swimming area. The Ferrys are busy to carrying the people from and to the land. Very busy and crowded tourist spot for locals.

The islands are covered with Mangrove trees so it is hard to explore everywhere. The other side of the islands have large breaking waves breaking on the protecting reef with train roaring sound constantly. It is a frightening and disturbing sound all the time, we can hear it from the boat in the Anchorage.

Lunch on the boat! Peter made a chicken soup with last night’s leftovers. Broccoli, Rice, Onion and Spam with chicken flavour soup is wonderful. Plus we bought French bread yesterday in Ensenada. The best and delicious ingredients together!

Our Spanish teacher is writing to us a lot. She writes in Spanish and we write back in Spanish. She has her kids from The Bronx stay during holidays. We are sure that they are having wonderful time together.

Peter is going to get fish for dinner, maybe! We have not had our own caught fish for for a long time.
