We are anchored at between the Culebra island and a reef. We walked on a sand bank in the middle of the Ocean between the reefs. We thought that there will be a lot of fish here. Peter got a couple of Conchs and we boiled and made a Korean style salad and used the rest as a bait. About the end of dinner, we heard the fishing line sound loudly.

Peter said that maybe we drag the bottom and he will dive in to save the hook. He did not realize that it is a Giant Ray fish. It weighs 15 pounds and went for bait of small fish and piece of Conch. We organized to watch a video quickly how to clean and fillet the Ray fish. Peter and Roger are working hard to clean the fish in the darkness. We cook some if the fish for lunch tomorrow. It was delicious. We froze some and later Roger cooked it with white wine and we still have a meal in the freezer. Pretty good by our standards.

Culebrita has beautiful beaches and completely wild. The Coves are beautiful and the water color is such a magnificent blue. We walked up to the Light House in the morning. The old light house is preserved as an historic structure only and the new Lighthouse is made of steel frame and looks very utilitarian, no style.

The whole Island is preserved as a Wild Life Refuge. Everything seems harmonized well including the Wild Goats? The unusual Cactus are growing everywhere. The cove has a lot of areas for snorkeling.

We have been snorkeling a lot in the different places of the ocean. Melones Beach has the most extraordinary scenes. The Corals and Fans are grown really big and a lot of fish. This light blue place must be good for snorkeling.

This is a naturally formed Rock Bath. The other side of the stones, has so much foam flowing like a Jacuzzi. The sound hitting the rock by the ocean waves seems so powerful and loud. Could a mystical angel like being come down here and take a quiet bath here?
