El Yunq, Rain Forest, has an abundance of unusual and beautiful plants and trees. Since most vegetation in the Rain Forest do not get a lot of sun and much rain, these plants get used mostly as interior plants indoors. This type of mass of Bamboo trees are growing everywhere in the mountain. It makes the beautiful presence specially growing tightly together. It reminds me of the interior space in IBM on 55th Street in Manhattan!

These are tall growing fern trees. Looks like a normal fern leaves but growing with a tree trunk. Peter is fascinated with these trees. Here in the Rain Forest, it is always interesting to notice all the different trees and forms. Sometimes we feel like that we are in a indoor plants museum.

Peter is tumbling down the river fast. It is rather hot to hike in the forest so it is a great relief to jump into the river. Oh What a feeling! The freshness and free! We are enjoying the cool natural Jacuzzi with a fresh clear water. And a back massage with tumbling and frothy water.

We wonder how this Animal Guest came to our boat and is sunbathing in our cockpit. By swimming and climbing or crawling along a thin mooring line? He is eating mostly vegetation so it is not a threat to us. We see a lot of small ones but big ones like this are rare. Some say they are not native and got introduced by fleeing from a pet shop.

The Old San Juan is an exciting place. All the cobble stone and beautiful Architecture accentuate the interesting place. It is real historical Puerto Rican cultures mixture.

A lot of museums are located inside of Old San Juan. This is about 22 Indian tribes still surviving in South America. Their rich cultures are disappearing so it makes me question the depth of the current culture. What makes a culture grow and flourish? Definitely there were fertile lands in America. Maybe too much abundance makes to continue the nomad life? Peter says the opposite, abundance creates free time that allows art and culture to develop.

We are in one of the restaurant in the beach. Beautiful ocean view and great seafood is famous in this restaurant. There is a long road of famous and ordinary restaurants in Luquillo Beach.
The sand is a more unusal orange color. And the tree trunk on the beach makes the the beach look exotic .

You Seem Very Much At Home There. Why Come Back To New York?
