Family trip to Europe

We have been staying in Puerto Rico since last June and focusing on organizing to buy a country house here. It seems to take forever to organizing everything what we want to accomplish. We also survived two hurricanes.

It is the time to see our families and decide to make a 6 week travel to Europe.

Spain in mid February was the first place to travel with Peter’s daughter Hannah and family. We stayed for a week near Malaga and the weather was perfect. Alhambra Palace is full of beautiful Architecture and history.

The bridge called “New Bridge” in Rondo was built in 13th Century. It is rather far to walk up though but our little granddaughter Matilda walked up by herself all the way.

The outdoor restaurant on the beach is delicious to sit and eat Spanish traditional dish. The sardines are grilled on a boat filled with sand. Enjoying the sun and seafood all together after the long wait for a free table. Notice that some people do not chew the bone of the sardine fish!

Peter is having wonderful time with grand kids. And specially Malaga has a lot of educational places and playgrounds to make the kids happy and inspire them.

We flew to England to visit Peter’s first son in Faringdon. The triplets are so delightful and healthy looking. They really do make you feel happy.

This is the fashion show we had with the clothes we brought as a gifts. They are already so big so can not wait for the summer. The twin boys are so wonderful to play with. They all try to talk to us about something serious, there us a lot of meaning in their babble. Alice is the leader in trying to sit up and roll over.

My sister and my brother-in-law in London are now retired. They ran a 50 room Hotel for twelve years and they sold the hotel three months ago. They are so happy not to work so hard and try to have a rest and relax. We had a picnic with Korean food in the Richmond park and hiked for a long time up Box Hill.

Peter’s 67th year birthday. We decided that we would feel a little bit oldish at 70 years old. We are still very energetic and youthful all the time. We are definitely sailing for two more years if everything can be organized. We got an approval to rent the Apartment in New York from the Board members. And the tenant want to stay longer.

Happy happy birthday

After the sailing trip, we have a plan to go to Europe and do a Canal trip by Canal boat. If we can arrange for me to make a big painting in the boat, we can stay a long time in the Canal Boat.

Celebration with my family.

Now we are exploring London. This is the British Museum and a lot of improvement have been done in the Museum. It used to leave the antique sculptures on the floor like a thing rather than an important item. It is all now very well exhibited. My sister complained that all the major sculptures in the Parthenon are here not in Greece. They just got back from 10 days trip from Greece.
