Oriental, NC

We had a peaceful sail from Ocracoke to Oriental. It was very tranquile with the soothing sound of the waves, gentle movement of the boat with a blue sky and the delicious breeze. The sound maybe originated from the womb like the primeval memory of sound. The sun was beaming down  gentily and warmly to every surfaces. What more can you expect and need as a paradise?

Beautiful sail makes us happy.
Beautiful sail makes us content.

We saw a lovely boat passing like a scene from paradise. We took some photos of the boat and called on the radio and asked if they would take a photo of us and email. See how beautiful the photo is.

It has been raining for two days and it will rain two more days again. We did not want to motor for all day long but it is almost 4pm. There is no anchorable place yet. We will go one more hour and we will be anchoring.

Peter and I are really poor and lazy fishermen. We just hook the artificial bate and tag along with the boat speed. We had two times fish but we were lazy to stop the boat and both times, we lost the fish. It must have been really big I imagine. Finally today we pull a fish into the boat safely. I was thrilled! But look at the size! Even if it is smallish we will have a main menu tonight.
