South Carolina!

Tonight the dinner is on Peter! I am just sitting down in the sofa comfortably and watch over Peter cooking and from time to time entertain him with conversation. The ingredients are Bacon, Onion, Potato and Mixed Vegetable. The chef has the choice of the meal. When I cook I cook what I like and Peter cooks he cooks what he likes.

The dusk is falling outside with bluish darkness surrounded by the Marsh land. And inside the cozy living room is filled with Bacon and Potatoes smell.

There are four boats anchored near us and the anchor lights are reflecting on the black water like a living creature.

We anchored in a beautiful cove. The cove is full of Marshgrasses and there are beautiful mansions in the shore with peaceful and grand water views.

Oh, yes we are in South Carolina! The North Carolina was too long. We are really in South! I do not have to worry about the cold weather anymore. The cold weather does not go well with sailing at least to me now. Although I have seen people sailing in Alaska with pleasure.

The Tropical Palm trees are everywhere now.

We were at a quiet anchorage when another Gemini (our boat type) came circled and said hello, they were gone by the time we got up in the morning. We caught up with them about 20 miles down the ICW. We had picked an anchorage for the night and they said they would join us for a swim then carry on. So we met Jane and Richard of Soundwave. Here we are swimming in what looks like tea, black tea not the milky brown English tea. It is the tanic acid in the water. They keep their boat at Hempstead Bay, New York which is just across from City Island where we keep our boat. They have done the NY to Florida trip 8 times and bought the boat new 30 years ago.

  2. Once Peter cooked English Casserole. And that day I wanted something spicy like soup. So I made Korean soup. Peter was upset because I did not eat his dish thus we had small shouting. Since then I always eat his food deliciously. Later I taught Peter the Korean meal for me.
It was fun to meet this couple. We were talking all the time while swimming. Interesting couple!
