Yesterday it rained hard all day long and it was cold, we motored all day down the ICW. When we stopped we fired up the generator and turned the electric heater on.
Today it suppose to rain like yesterday all day long. We decided to stay at a lovely anchoring place in an oxbow lake surrounded by trees growing in the water on the River Waccamaw.
It is my painting day. I have painted while sailing for 6 hours long. But I am not settling down yet with my painting. I could paint today for 8 hours long.
Some friends who believe in me on my painting worried about my loss time due to my sailing. I explained my intention to have a break through in the painting with the sailing motion. I am thinking about painting the motion in two dimensions.
I do not know yet what is going to look like but I am reading the Physics of Fractals now. Hopefully it will go together!
Today I am painting about happy days when my son was a baby. His bright eyes are catching everything on life. My interpretation is in an abstract way.
“Layla” came late afternoon to the anchorage here yesterday. We were glad to see them since we had a drink the other day on our Boat. They are from Canada. They left home in August. We did want to travel at same time with them but we did not want to go anywhere today. In the morning we saw that they are also staying like us too. We were happy to see them stay like us.
Next time we anchor at the same place we will have a drink in their boat, they said. We will see tonight. If it is raining so hard like now, it is not fun to have a dinghy ride to their boat.
Peter has been doing odd jobs while I am painting.
It is late afternoon. My painting doesn’t turn out to be good! I was too distracted. Peter was making too much noise to defrost the refrigerator. I hear the beautiful melody of a clarinet. Michael of “Layla” is playing on their boat.
The fridge is now clean but now I (Peter) am being blamed for the bad painting, I mutter to much when working:-(

What a lovely photo of ⛵️Layla. Now we are able to contact you to make a date to come on board. It was such a nasty day and both of us were bored. We are keaving early tomorrow and heading to Georgetown. I hope that we can hook up for a glass of Shiraz on ⛵️Layla. We enjoyed our evening with you the other night. Mike us still talking about how nice it was .
Mike wasn’t even “into” his 🎶 today. Bi couldn’t do much writing today either. Such a blah day for all artists
