Georgetown and environs

The sunset in George Town from the boat! The passion goes high up in the sky burning up the sky with redness of flame and the sun, until the sun submerges into the horizon.

We hired a car and went to Brookgreen Gardens which is a Rice plantation converted into a Garden. It has a lot of beautiful ideas and fresh designs.

Peter had a long chat with this man who is holding a book in one hand. And another long chat with this bird. I do not know about what they talked but I am sure some kind of happiness in life.

I was very happy in the Sculpture Garden. The setting was beautiful and cool. The architecture is more interesting than the sculptures. It was more traditional art pieces.

Beautiful display of the sculptures.

Already they are hanging Christmas light decorations. Christmas with sunny and warm weather sounds very exotic and alien to me.

Christmas, palm tree, sun.

We anchored next to uninhibited Capers Island and walked along the beach. Dali must have seen this! Nature has its way of doing things. There is no human touch and organisation on this Island.

I would have been like a child in a candy store at that beach. The photo opportunities are endless. Hope to see you in Florida.

  3. Fabulous pictures!! Alan and I are really enjoying your observations and photo montage. What a fabulous experience minus the toilet overflow. Bon Voyage!!
