Merry Christmas

We have been cruising now for 2 1/2 months. It is more relaxing and productive than we imagined  and we find time to do things we like. Peter has started playing guitar again. Because it is so pleasurable and relaxing we are beginning to consider extending our two year plan.

Christmas time is for family and we received a family photo with Henry and Miltida (Peter’s grand kids) this morning. This makes us think about when we had Christmases with young kids now those kids have their own kids and keep up the tradition. We miss our family and friends but we like our cruising, seeing new places and meeting new friends.

We have two Turkey legs for dinner and we have an afternoon yard party with other boat owners.

Surprise party!

To us, it is a quiet and relaxing Christmas. Sitting on the sofa and watching the view outside change by the direction of moving boat as it swings around the anchor!

Life like this journey is full of surprises and memories and time gets distorted. Arriving at Norfolk and the Dismal Swamp seems ages ago yet Christmas with young kids seems like yesterday.

Love to everyone and enjoy Christmas wherever and whatever you are doing.
