We went by the dinghy and arrived at one of the restaurant dock which looks like a public dock. The owner did not mind to leave the dinghy at their private dock. So we decided to have a lunch with them after running the errands. A lot of fish, Tarpons, are waiting under the resturant deck to get some bread and food from us. They are bigger than my leg!

Peter found the problem with the engine, it was a hose that had rubbed against something and had a hole. We thought it may have been the heat exchanger (expensive 😞) so we’re glad it was a hose😂. We ordered a replacement but delivery was two weeks, we found a flexible hose in a car parts shop that fitted perfectly for all if $14, great!
We went to the light house and walked around the beautiful cliffs. After shopping for around three days to get necessary things, it was really nice to walk around the Nature and enjoyed scenery. We have got almost everything except to order in the internet things. It is really nice to be in America to get the things we need.

Christmas dinner was wonderful. Wanda who is the owner of Restaurant invited us to a traditional Puerto Rico Christmas dinner. Acturo, Basta, and Consort planned to have a dinner together. Acturo went a day sailing with 9 people with whom they met here. They could not make the dinner but they had a party very late next us in the Marina.

Consort is a beautiful boat and they organized the interior artistically and tastfully. Very homey! They made a beautiful Christmas tree with found objects from the beach. It is magical to make with such different materials.
We left Boqueron mid afternoon to anchor by the lighthouse at Rojo Cabo. The forecast is for very strong Northeast winds but because we are on the south of the Island we assumed that we would be protected and the strong winds will change to Southeast in the next few days and that would leave us exposed on the south coast so we decided to move on. The night by the lighthouse was peaceful and we swam in the clear water. We left at 3:00 am to take advantage of the night lee when winds drop.
During the dark hours Peter saw a huge shooting star, it started as a bright streak, grew thicker, turned green and exploded. All in about 1 second it must have been a good sized meteor, quite spectacular.
We anchored in a beautiful Cove called Esenada. The cove is completely surrounded by the green hills and trees. A fisherman threw a Fishing net to catch fish. What a wonderful surprise to see such a beautiful cove since one can not imagine from the Chart that it is like this.
Keep on following your bliss. Have a happy New Year.Enjoy! On Dec 27, 2016 11:27 AM, “Lee and Peter Sailing Trip for Two Years” wrote:
