Pelican bird has a distinctive pouch.
It uses the pouch to catch fish. It has large beak and prominent looking mouth. And also waiting patiently to catch fish.

This 375 years old tree is telling the life of it’s own and the life of others too. Has prosperous leaves on the southern side and skimpy leaves on the northern side. The energetic looking branches and leaves look powerful. The roots are really telling of the old age.

We went to the black sand beach. It supposed to be from black volcanic rocks. It reminds me of the black sand beach in Hawaii. The hot lava fell into the ocean and exploded into sand and makes a new beach. In Hawaii it makes a two days old black sand beach! We think this beach is much older. The black color was accentuated by the ocean water.

The journey for snorkeling was really fun. The rocky bottom has a lot of yellow and blue striped fish, brain corals, and fan corals. The habitats of sea animals look really calm and abundant. There were a lot of dangerous looking Porcupines aka sea urchins everywhere too.

Peter got a great idea of getting live Snails and use as a bait. We have caught two fish, Bar Jack, we believe. We cooked two fish as a Caribbean style and enjoyed as a dinner. We are supposed to get Mahie Mahie today. On the way to Culabre, we hope to get some fish for a dinner.

Peter and Roger are always busy to do odd jobs in the boat when they have some time. Roger always participates in the action. We cleaned the boat bottom together last week and now to upgrade the part of the painted ceiling. We are going to replace with a fabric.

Very impressive!
