Painting again

We started to watch news on the TV. We brought a TV from NY but we did not even bother to open it. It is a funny feeling to start to watch since TV seems so hyper compared to our relaxed life and seems to make you feel hyper. Anyhow nowadays things are so volitile in US and the World, the cell phone coverage is not enough to get the sense. And often we do not have internet from where we are.

Watching one hour in the morning and one hour and half in the evening make us very busy in the cruising life. But we feel it is necessary to follow up what is going on at home and around the world. We need to be at a place to connect the antenna with a good TV signal. It has been almost one and half years of cruising life, so we need to get more information from home.

Mathew, Peter’s son, wanted to meet us in Guadeloupe during the Easter Holidays but we could not be sure of making it there. We have been so busy between St. Thomas and St. John in and out of it these days since we are planning to buy a Country House in Culebra, PR. and Dentist appointments. We are going to meet Mathew in St Maarten at the beginning of April.

We are about to sign the Contract now. This is the view from the House which we are pursuing in Culebra. We will see if we are able to close the deal successfully while cruising around. There is one other couple who wants to buy the same house.

We have been in Cruz Bay, St. John a lot of times for getting mail or doing laundry. Today we found Sushi, in St. John on the Balcony of the restaurant during happy hour. It was really delicious and satisfying since we have not eaten sushi for a long time.

Breezy People Watching

Peter is enjoying the steel drum music a lot. Young Musicians are playing altogether in the city park. It reminds us of the steel drum Caribbean musician on the fifth avenue in New York city.

Listening the Local sound tone

The big wave made by a Ferry near Cruz Bay knocked down and broke the TV. So much for that! We go back waiting for the Internet on the Cell Phone. We don’t know which is better with TV or without TV. We don’t think that there is a need to buy one right away anyway. TV seems to suck your time as you sit there staring at it.

We are listening to the News from the Radio now. It is much less intrusive than TV. Well we are watching movies or read books in the evening. I have been behind in my Painting activities so now wake up early in the morning and start to paint. This is the painting I am working on now. It needs a lot of detail and precision.

Orderly Chaotic Creation

This is the book I am reading thorougly now. Early in the morning I go out in the cockpit and watch the ocean, land, beach, island, sky, the clouds and the striking color of the water. It is mesmerizing to watch and I do not want to stop looking. I try to understand why they are so beautiful. The Mathematical order in the world can be one explanations!
