Peter baked bread and we boiled 12 eggs. We are preparing for the 80 miles crossing to St. Marteen. It was really rough to sail to Virgin Gorda from St. John the other day. We hope that the Ocean is not too rough today since we are planing to sail for 20 hours.

Peter is slowly pulling up the Anchor from 20′ deep. Oh right, the Anchor is up, we are leaving! There is always the tension leaving for a long Journey.
I have been designing the Brisas home in Culebra. It looks like that we got the house unless anything is wrong with the survey of the house structure itself. I wanted the relaxing Carribean Scheme for the interior. Wanted to put Antique furniture but it is too hard to shop for Antique Furniture during the Cruising. The four photographs here are the previous owners interior.

The exposed dark wood ceiling makes the room dark so I used light color furniture. I could use Caribbean Art pieces as a decoration items. St. Marteen may be a good place to go shopping for the interior. Shopping for the interior can be fun, but all the design is done with internet.

During the sailing, I will design the interior and refresh my French since half of the Island speaks French. We are thinking about the delicious french wine and cheese at a not so expensive price.

We have been sailing in the morning and now we are motoring. The ocean is calm enough to do a lot of things. Peter was listening to a BBC recording and now reading his book. After a through the night motor / sail, in the morning, we will be at the destination. I am happy sitting at my corner to make myself busy.

Peter is so happy that his first son Mathew is coming soon to St. Marteen. It will be a great time with Father and Son together. Wonderful getting together too! His wife can not come because of her work. It will be man to man rendevous. I am also happy for Peter and to see Mathew. He is exact duplicate of His father.

The Ocean is calm enough that we can wash the dishes. After the dish are done by Peter, I will cook fried rice. A lot of vegetables and rice are soothing for the stomach. There is a boat named Blue 2 miles to the south of us and sailing with us we see them on the AIS: Atomatic Idenfication System. We call and talk to them. They are going to the same island and they are Canadian French. We told them that we will get together in St. Marteen. We can see the glymse of the sailboat on the horizon.

Best Wishes For Calm Seas And Safe Harbors. Enjoy!
