Adam and Jenny Wedding

Anticipating Adam’s Wedding! The day of the Wedding, I woke up at 3:00 am and wrote my speech for the Wedding and went back to sleep again. We are really anxious about building the Wedding Canopy, the Chuppah. It took three days to construct the Chuppah what with other things, being social, hair does etc. We did not have any extra time to spend with my family either. But we really enjoyed the time of making the labour of love.

The day of Wedding!

The day of Wedding, we picked up the flowers in the early morning and decorated the Chuppah with fresh flowers. Since 50% chance of rain for about Wedding time, Adam asked to make the Chuppah to be able to move around. If it rains, we would have the Chuppah under the tent. What a wonderful idea to move the Chuppah! It rained really hard about noon after that at about 2:00pm, Adam decided to bring out the Chuppah and chairs outdoors since the sun is out.

Under the beautiful Chuppah

It was sunny all the Wedding Ceremony through and it was a beautiful Wedding. Later it rained hard again but everybody was ready to have dinner in the tent so worked out perfectly. And everybody praised the beautiful Chuppah including Adam and Jenny.

Enjoying every moment of Wedding

When Adam and I danced at Adam’s song, almost every member of my family were in tears. Everybody loved the speech which Peter and I gave about their healthy relationship and wishing forever and presenting the Tallit from the Chuppah. After that, there was a big dance party! My side of family were very busy to enjoy dancing with the music.

My Brother from Korea and Peter

It was magical to have a perfect Wedding including the weather, mixture of sun and rain. Next day we had a brunch to say farewell to everybody. We felt very close to Jenny’s parents after three days. We will see each other again at Adam and Jenny’s Graduation next year.

My side of Family with Adam and Jenny

After the farewell, we directly drove to Niagara Falls with my brother and his wife from Korea. They were so impressed with the scale of Waterfalls. We had lunch in Canada! Having walked across Rainbow Bridge to the other side of the Water Fall in Canada, we went on “Maid of the Mist” the boat that goes near the waterfall and makes everybody wet!

We spent an afternoon in New York City and went up the Empire State Building and walked on Time Square and Fifth Avenue before going to JFK.

We flew to Puerto Rico all together and sailed to Icacus Island. We got a big Yellow Tail Snapper and Peter made Sashimi. My brother’s wife’s favorite dish is Sashimi. So she was so happy and enjoyed immensely. Fresh straight from the sea! She said that it is so fresh and tasty. We spent a night at the Icacus Island.

Oh we got a Fish!

On the way to the Airport, we went to El Yunque Rain Forest. It is so interesting to see all the unusual plants. It is like a botanical garden but real forest and water falls a truly magical place.
