It has been a long time waiting for the result of the residency program places for Adam and Jenny. They have been waiting to see if they will be in the same city. They will work for four or six years there so it is a big deal. They applied for Residency in New York, Philadelphia and Boston. Their first and second choices are Boston.

Adam and I are texting 15 minutes before the announcement time. Finally he texted me with lot of exclamations ” Harvard”! He said that there are three Harvard Hospitals. They got two Havard hospitals. Adam got Massachusettes General Hospital and Jenny got Beth Israel Hospital. We were so happy and relieved specially since they are in the same city. We got the news when we were in a Pub in London with my sister and her husband after a long hike. We all are in congratulational mood.

We miss the triplets so much. We look at this photo for a while everyday. What a beautiful photo! His gaze and bright smile makes us always happy.

My sister’s daughter, Seh finally graduated from Oxford University. Even though she finished her studies 10 years ago! She waited for the Graduation Ceremony so her parents can attend to the ceremony.

They could not attend the ceremony due to the Hotel business. Finally now they can attend and have time after selling the hotel business. Seh has been very successful and already has a PhD in psychology and has been working as a Psycologist.

We flew to Iceland on the way back to Puerto Rico and visited this Cathedral in Reykjavik. The unusual landscape and the unusual form of Glaciers seems to match well with this Cathedral design. The interesting proportion of the landscape make this unusual form of Architecture.

We read about the dry fish and wanted to try and found a perfect Iceland traditional meal. The dish with the Iceland flag is fermented Shark. It has a strong taste of fermentation and interesting after taste a little bit like cheese.

The Blue Lagoon, The World Largest Natural Jacuzzi was so interesting. It was a windy and a very very cold rainy day with gale force wind but inside the water was warm and beautiful. We did not dare to stand up in the cold air. Peter’s head got very cold in the wind and he had to continually dive under. We enjoyed the Silicon Mud face pack and a warm water waterfall and had a drink inside.

We climbed up this Waterfall which is 280 feet high. Very powerful sound of water! At the top we could see the river just disappear over the edge. Imagine being in a kayak and not knowing!

We went to Black Sand Beach. The rocks are slightly hexagonal and interesting like Fingal’s Cave in Scotland. There is a shallow cave here and Peter could not resist posing on the rocks. The imprint of Peter with the background of rocks.

The tall black rocks are in the middle of the ocean guarding the beach. They say they were Trolls that got caught in the sunrise and as everyone knows Trolls turn to stone in sunlight. The black sands are shocking and get darker and more striking when wet with ocean water.

Congratulations on the new medical graduates match. Glad you’re enjoying your travels. Great pictures
