My Painting in Music

The Composer and Pianist, “Margin Alexander” is composing a music piece, inspired by my painting “Sailing 06”. The concert, “Manhattan Music Exhibition” will be held December 30, 2020 online. I am so excited to hear the music deriving from my visual presentation.

My Flyer

Margin Alexander’s music is very easy to listen to and easy to like. I hear water, different sounds of flowing water. The constant water flow becomes the affirmative of hopefulness.

I had a long lost close friend. We were college friends but we have not talked to each other for 35 years. At that time I sent a letter to her how I felt and I think that caused the breakup. I think she was having hardship at that point in time her life.

I recently, 35 years later, initiated  to talk to her with another close friend. Three of us were really ready to talk to each other like this painting the conversations were Bubbling up and kept going.

Bubble Drop

This is the painting “one spring day” I painted and wanted to send to this friend. It is the feeling to recognize the brightening of her now well accomplished life and our getting together again.

One Spring Day

My Granddaughter Tali is amazing. She does not cry like a usual baby when hungry. She calls her mom, Ahh..  and do the lips movements. Her mother understood Tali’s need and gave the breast feeding when she was only two months old.

Tali

Tali is going to grow up looking at books like this one about RBG. She is going to be an important person  like RBG in the history. At least that is my interpretation and I am not prejudiced in anyway!

RGB in the making!

  1. Lee, It’s really exciting to have your art work put to music. How flattering! That’s a lovely inspiring story about the friendship you’ve managed to rekindle after so many years. It’s a testament to both you and your friend! I love the representation and the picture. Hope 2021 is a good year for you guys. Love, Carol
